What I’m up to: Since graduating from Queen’s, I spent last summer working as a biomechanist at Qualisys Motion Capture in Sweden. Now I am completing my Masters in Biomedical Engineering specializing in Biomechanics at UBC.
How Queen’s Kin prepared me for my future: Queen’s Kinesiology helped me prepare for everything at this level, specifically doing my undergraduate thesis in Dr. Jess Selinger’s Neuromechanics lab which lead me to wanting to pursue my current masters.
Favourite Kin memory: My favourite kin memory was being a Vet and getting to re-live the magic of orientation all over again.
Favourite class: KNPE 450: Ergonomics and Design as well as all my classes involved in the Disability and Physical activity certificate
Advice for current students: Take a variety of kinesiology courses. There are so many aspects to kin you may not know what you love till the end!

What I’m up to: Since graduating from Queen's Kin, I pursued a post graduate certificate in Sport and Event Marketing from George Brown College in Toronto. I currently work at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) on the Memberships team! I help manage Leafs, Raptors, TFC and Argos client relationships by providing personalized service, handling game day inquiries, and assisting with the sales and retention of all memberships.
Favourite Kin memory: My favourite kin memory is definitely being a Vet for Orientation.
Favourite class: My favorite class that I took during my undergrad was the classes associated with my Athletic Therapy mini-stream.
Advice for current students: My best advice to first-year students is not to be afraid to pursue a career path outside the typical Kinesiology routes, because your degree opens doors to many opportunities beyond the expected.

Favourite Kin memory: Definitely orientation! All four years, I was always reminded of how much of a family Queen’s Kin is!
Favourite class: My favourite class was KNPE 331 or 335.
Advice for current students: Just dive in! Take the university experience and make it your own! Take things day by day and enjoy every second.

What I’m up to: Since graduating from Queen's, with a Bachelor's of Physical Education, I pursued my Masters of Human Kinetics with a concentration in Sports Management from the University of Ottawa. I currently work as the Manager of High Performance Sport Operations for Queen's Athletics and Reaction. My favourite part of my job is being surrounded by coaches, student-athletes, and administrators who are so passionate and dedicated to the work they do.
Favourite class: Testing my memory with this one, but KNPE 331 was a lot of fun, and knowing how to tape injuries always comes in handy.
Advice for current students: Advice for current students would be to try to find balance as much as possible. There are times when it can feel like you could do endless amounts of research, reading, or studying, but maintaining a balanced lifestyle is equally if not more important.
