President
The President represents the best interests of the students of Kinesiology. This role involves overseeing the advancement of PHEKSA, working alongside with the VPOPS and VPUA to ensure the best opportunities for students. Likewise, the President shall represent students at the Alma Mater Society Assembly, and act as a liaison between students, faculty and administration.
VP of University Affairs
The Vice President of University Affairs (VPUA) meets with SKHS Administration and student leaders across the University, as well as oversee half of the assembly members - ensuring that they have the support they need to fulfill the responsibilities of their role.
VP of Operations
The VPOPS oversees all internal commissions within PHEKSA and works closely with the Finance Commissioner for the PHEKSA accounts and budgets. The VPOPS also works closely with the KIN Orientation Committee (ECKO) and assists in orientation week hiring.
Finance Commissioner
The Finance Commissioner ensures transparency throughout all PHEKSA sanctioned events and aims for all events to be run as close to cost as possible in order to promote accessibility for our students.

Internal Affairs Commissioner
The Internal Affairs Commissioner (CIA) is the neutral mediator of PHEKSA Council meetings, organizes and advertises elections, and fairly applies the PHEKSA Constitution when necessary. At meetings, it is important for the CIA to facilitate a respectful and structured environment for all, while ensuring there is still joy and fun involved.

Intern to the Exec
The Intern to the Executive takes minutes at all PHEKSA meetings and whenever required as deemed by The Executive. In addition, the Intern to the Executive works with the CIA during the PHEKSA election/hiring process and assists the Executive in any other tasks required.

Academic Commissioners
The Academic Commissioners are dedicated to supporting the academic needs of Kinesiology students by serving as a bridge between the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies (SKHS) and the student body. They advocate for student interests within SKHS, ensure that students are informed about program updates, and organize the Peer Tutoring Program to provide essential academic support.

Outreach Commissioners
The Outreach Commissioners are dedicated to building connections across the Kinesiology program, Queen’s University, and the Kingston community. Through initiatives like Peer Pals, KINnections2Alumni, and other outreach programs, they foster a strong network that enhances student experience, supports mentorship, and strengthens community ties.

Communications Commissioners
The Communications Commissioners are responsible for maintaining effective communication between the student association and the Kinesiology student body. Athletics Commissioners
The PHEKSA Athletics Commissioners are dedicated to fostering a fun and active environment within the Kinesiology program. The Junior Athletics Commissioners organize events like the annual ski trip and the Senior Athletics Commissioner manages and organizes the Queen’s Kin Games team. Overall, they work together to plan and execute these key athletic events, creating memorable experiences that strengthen bonds within the Kinesiology community.

Social and Formal Commissioners
The Social and Formal Commissioners are responsible for creating memorable social events that bring the Kinesiology student body together. By organizing the annual semi-formal and formal events, they help foster a sense of community, celebration, and connection within the program. The Social Commissioner focuses on the semi-formal event in the fall semester, while the Formal Commissioners plan the formal event in the winter semester.

The Coach’s Corner Commissioner is responsible for creating and distributing the PHEKSA newsletter, Coach’s Corner, an essential source of information and updates for Kinesiology students. By highlighting the events from the previous month, they ensure that the student body stays connected and well-informed.

The Merchandise Commissioner is responsible for designing and managing sales of Queen’s Kinesiology merchandise. Through design and organized sales, the Merchandise Commissioner ensures that students have access to high-quality, program-branded apparel and accessories that showcase their Kinesiology pride. Sales are held in both the fall and winter semesters to allow students to purchase gear throughout the academic year.
